Accounting Analyst

MCCPDC is actively looking for an Accounting Analyst to join the team! The Accounting Analyst must be a self-starter. This role will oversee or support the Company’s Financial functions and Supply Chain functions in day-to-day operation. The role reports to the VP of Finance but will also work closely in support of the EVP of Supply Chain & Procurement. These leaders are known for taking initiative and the environment is face-paced. The successful candidate will be a like-minded, energetic worker who tackles challenges often without having been asked to do so. Job functions will include managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and various capacities of inventory work. The job will entail confirming materials ordered have been received, make necessary adjustments in certain circumstances, and reconciling invoices before payment. This individual will be called upon to collaborate with many departments within the organization to ensure consistency and compliance regarding pricing, payments, and auditability. They will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve issues to provide optimum service to our vendors and our teammates while keeping the needs of the business in mind. The job also entails price analysis of existing products to ensure maintenance of proper margin calculations.

DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Responsible for Accounts Payable and AccountsReceivable

·      Purchase Order (PO) Inventory Reconciliations and Adjustments

·      Asset addition and depletion

·      Perform cost analysis for various generic drugs

·      Compile and analyze account information for financial analysis and makes financial recommendations from the analysis

·      Ensure that all accounts and entry work meet audit fundamentals

·      Act in recommending new standard operating procedures as the business grows and the role evolves

·      Reconcile financial, inventory, or supply chain discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, draws conclusions and presents to management

·      Summarize data and present information and trends to management as called upon

·      Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues to ensure vendors are receiving excellent service

EDUCATIONAND/OR TRAINING:

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

·      Masters of Accounting / CPA preferred

·      Must be proficient in QBO and SAP by Design

·      Expert at Microsoft Office Suite (MicrosoftAccess and Visio familiarity is a plus)

·      Financial modeling experience and/or aptitude to learn

WORKEXPERIENCE:

·      At least two years related experience required

·      Pharmaceutical accounting experience is a plus

·      Experience with GAAP Accounting
